I am an experienced instructional designer and faculty developer offering a variety of consulting services. I specialize in accessibility, UDL, and inclusion with respect to disability and neurodiversity.
My Neurodiversity Guest Facilitation and Consulting page provides detailed information about my neurodiversity workshop offerings.
Please do contact me if you would like to work together in any of these areas or another one, or if you would like to hear more about my previous consulting projects.
Consulting areas
Navigating classroom dynamics involving neurodiversity, group activities, and communication
I can support course design and conflict resolution for individuals or groups who are looking to respond to neurodiversity in their classroom group activities or support effective communication in their classrooms. Activities could involve scenario analysis, small or individual discussions, or evaluation plans for assessment of changes to course design.
Building neurodiversity awareness and support on your campus/in your program
I can support your team in mapping and analyzing the current landscape of neurodiversity awareness and support on your campus or in your program, and help create a plan to further develop neurodiversity-affirming practices. As part of this work, I can provide self-guided mapping activities and or facilitation of group conversations.
ADA Title II faculty training and small-group consulting
I can provide both general faculty training and small group troubleshooting or consulting on the transition to new digital accessibility requirements for public institutions (governed by ADA Title II).
Working with neurodivergent staff and instructors
I can provide small-group or individual consultations for managers or other leaders on developing an inclusive culture for neurodivergent instructors and other staff in higher education. This work is aligned with my Working with Neurodivergent Instructors workshop, which I offer to the public periodically.
